Nephrology Associates, PC has an opening for a junior associate to join our private practice in the Boroughs of Queens and the Bronx. We are interested in a candidate with strong clinical skills with an interest in practicing in a unique setting which combines primary practice with a major teaching component.
The members of our practice are responsible for all the clinical and educational aspects of the renal division at the New York Presbyterian Queens. We are a hospital- based, private practice with clinical, teaching and research activities. We supervise dialysis care in four dialysis facilities, provide hospital consultations , and have an active office practice in a large, community-based teaching hospital with a major academic affiliation.
Our Division of Nephrology provides care for outpatient hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis and home hemodialysis patients. We supervise a Renal Fellowship program, with significant teaching commitments to the Department of Medicine.
We have an active research program with significant involvement in cutting-edge clinical pharmaceutical research.
We are looking for an associate with strong clinical capabilities who is looking to provide nephrology care in a busy, clinically diverse, urban setting. The workload can be significant and challenging, but offers the unique reward of combining clinical and academic activities.
