Baylor Scott & White Health McLane Children's Medical Center is conducting a national search for a Pediatric Critical Care Physician to join our team in Central Texas. An ideal candidate can provide special care to address a child’s critical needs.
Position Highlights:
- The Physician will be the 7th Critical Care Provider
- 16 bed Medical Intensive Care Unit with services including ecmo and dialysis
- Job duties to include provision of sedation for Radiology and Medial procedures (weekdays and daytime)
- Opportunity exist for clinical research and quality improvement projects
- Will include Pediatrics and ED Residents and Medical students
- Medical school academic opportunities and teaching opportunities with students and Residents
About McLane Children’s Medical Center
Our five-story McLane Children's Specialty Clinic is located next to our free-standing Children's Hospital in Temple, Texas. The hospital features include112 patient beds: forty-eight private medical/surgical rooms, sixteen private Pediatric ICU rooms and a 24-hour, level II pediatric emergency department and verified trauma center equipped to deal with the most serious pediatric trauma cases. A level IV, forty-eight bed Neonatal ICU is located nearby on the main BSWMC, Temple campus.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate Degree in Medicine
Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her specialty or demonstrate active pursuit of board certification as defined by the appropriate specialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
