Boston Children’s Health Physicians (BCHP) along with Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital at Westchester Medical Center and the Department of Pediatrics at New York Medical College have initiated a search to identify candidates to serve as the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology for all three organizations. This key physician leadership role leads all clinical, educational, and administrative activities of the division. Successful candidates for this position must demonstrate the ability to lead a diverse group in clinical, research, and teaching programs, work with hospital and academic department partners using a collaborative approach, and mentor junior faculty. The successful candidate will also have business skills, including financial budgeting and resource management experience. Other key attributes include a commitment to excellence in patient care, implementation of innovative patient care programs, dedication to expanding research and teaching programs, and experience with strategic program growth. Candidates should be board certified in Pediatric Endocrinology, and eligible for the academic rank of Associate Professor of Pediatrics or higher at New York Medical College.

In addition to the Division Chief, the Endocrinology division includes 5 attending physicians, 3 nurse practitioners, a superb multidisciplinary team, and is well positioned to grow significantly over the next few years. The division cares for inpatients at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital and outpatients in Westchester and surrounding counties.
