Northwell Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible fellowship trained Colorectal Surgeon to join us as we expand our services throughout the Eastern Region of Long Island, New York. The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills including colonoscopy, robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic skills, as well as an interest in surgical education. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who is interested in being part of a busy and growing practice in Suffolk County.
Founded in 1951 as Central Suffolk Hospital, Peconic Bay Medical Center is the largest hospital in eastern Suffolk County. As a non-for-profit 144-bed community hospital, we serve as the primary resource for advanced healthcare services for the 250,000+ residents of the Riverhead area, eastern central Suffolk County, and Long Island's North Fork. We provide our service area's only Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Suite, Level III Trauma Center, and NYS-Designated Stroke Center. PBMC features a highly regarded emergency department, an advanced surgery center, and Centers of Excellence in joint replacement and bariatric surgery, and a growing range of leading-edge medical services.
This is a 100% colorectal practice with no general surgery responsibilities. The group is known for its advanced skills in minimally invasive surgery and has a major interest in laparoscopic, robotic, and other minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of colon and rectal diseases.

Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
