Position Description: Penn Nephrology is seeking a full-time BC/BE Nephrologist to join our collegial group of providers located in the historical part of downtown Philadelphia, PA. We are looking for individuals committed to providing compassionate clinical care and who enjoy teaching opportunities with Medical Students and Residents. This is the sole nephrology group at Pennsylvania Hospital which has 515 beds and is the nation’s first hospital, with a broad scope of highly respected medical and surgical programs.
Penn Nephrology at Pennsylvania Hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient subspecialty services, including consultative services for a broad spectrum of kidney diseases and outpatient management of both at home and in center dialysis patients. The position is well balanced amongst inpatient consultations, outpatient office visits and outpatient dialysis services. Excellent patient population in terms of disease and diversity. Call is 1:5.
As a Nephrologist in this practice, you will be connected with the greater Penn Medicine Division of Nephrology and have access to education events, in-system referrals and networking opportunities with colleagues.

Minimum Requirements: Applicants must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and subspecialty trained and Board Eligible or Board Certified in Nephrology. Must have or be eligible for a PA license and DEA.
