Northwest Renal Clinic established Island Kidney Care in 2019 and is seeking a BC/BE nephrologist to join our current 2 physician and 1 nurse practitioner practice.  We are seeking a full-time nephrologist for the island of Maui.  Known as The Valley Isle, Maui has everything you need for the family that loves outdoor activities including:

                >Hiking in Iao Valley

                >Paddle boarding in the calm morning waters off Kihei

                >Surfing on the North Shore

                >Hiking the beautiful Haleakala Volcano

                >Beautiful beaches

                >Great restaurants

                >Scenic drive to Hana

You will be able to enjoy the finest that Maui has to offer with a work schedule that allows you to enjoy life:

                >4 day work week

                >Full time Physician Assistant for dialysis rounds

                >6 weeks’ vacation in 1^st year increasing to 8 weeks in year 3

                >1 in 4 weekend hospital call

We are looking for a minimum 3 year commitment.

Partnership Track

This position is a partnership track position with NW Renal Clinic DBA Island Kidney Care.  You are eligible for partnership after the completion of 2 years. 

What happens after 3 years?

If you fall in love with Maui and want to stay, then you will continue as a full partner with NW Renal Clinic DBA Island Kidney Care.  If, after 3 years, you do not think that living in the islands is right for you or your family, NW Renal will guarantee you a position in our Portland or Salem, OR location.
